Better than ever!
The new generation of Benriner slicers are better than ever. I have been using the classic green and ivory Benriner slicers for more than 15 years, as they have always exceeded the sharpness, ease of use and quality of stainless Mandolins in professional kitchens. I purchased the new white Benriner to replace a ten year old model that has been my workhorse and it is amazing! New improvements such as a notch to keep the slicer from moving while working over a bowl or container, soft grip on the bottom to keep the slicer stable when angled on a flat surface or cutting board, large adjustment knob to better control thickness and a removable upper plate to better clean; this thing is great. Add the always sharp blades and there is no question this new model is worth the small amount more than it's predecessor.
