Still, Melmotte (David Suchet) is being forced to leave Vienna due to yet another financial scandal in this scoundrel's long list of fiduciary disasters. Suchet is devilishly delightful in this adaptation of Anthony Trollope's classic novel. This mini-series of corruption and deceit was adapted by Andrew Davies, who previously adapted PRIDE AND PREJUDICE for the A&E Network.
