the best story ever, see the Tolkien movie and you understand somewhat of where the author comes from.
I have read this trilogy 4 times paper back for every decade of my life starting in my teens. This hardbound edition is fantastic! The illustrations are beautiful and the type is bigger. An edition to come back to
I like good-looking books. I like to hold books in my hand. If it's a book I will want to read again because of the story or the language, I want a really nice copy so that I feel that I'm coming back to a treasured friend. This edition of Lord of the Rings, with the A+ illustrations fills all of these criteria. This is an early 2000's edition of Lord of the Rings, illustrated by Alan Lee. Beautiful illustrations through out, and the entirety of the book is printed on encyclopedia-quality paper. Quality illustrated boxset LOTR trilogy

LotR Trilogy by JRR Tolkien
