Great story update. Henry Cavill IS Superman!
The storyline is a good updating of the classic Superman story. The interplay of flashbacks is very helpful. I've seen all the Superman incarnations and Henry Cavill is perfect. I look forward to seeing him continue in the role. I also like that Lois Lane is not portrayed as helpless but a more capable and brave career woman. On the other hand, the movie has a LOT of destruction. Just because the movie makers have the ability with CGI to blow things up, DOES NOT MEAN THEY SHOULD.

Super Superman film!!
The most serious and entertaining Superman version I've ever seen! It is an adult oriented realistic portrayal that is loaded with action and intensity. This is the first time the titular Man of Steel has been presented in a real world setting and it is a triumph in every way. The musical score by Hans Zimmer is excellent as well. Henry Cavill looks like he could crush a gorilla as he should. This is my favorite superhero film ever.

Simply the best
WB you have produced a movie that will inspire generations. It is very rare for a movie production studio to produce a movie that can inspire people from all different backgrounds. Everyone can identify with this movie and the story line. It has been and will always be my favorite movie that you have ever created. I purchased this movie so that I am reminded that once upon a time there existed a movie theater that actually got it right when it comes to creating the most spectacular movie on earth. My compliments to the details in your movie that I thought were most whimsical and heart inspiring. I hope that your movie studio enjoys great success in the future. Thank you for a most precious gift. This will always remain my most favorite movie of all time.

Super Movie!
From character development to special effects, a superb rendering. The action is undeniably well-done and the story line blending the past into the present are intriguing. Cavell as Superman is an inspired choice, as are the other actors. This is a great view.

A fun super ride
This is a great take on the superman history very engaging the small details that you ask about growing up as a super hero the one might ask a lot of those questions answered a nice little ride...

Superb Quality 2 DVD Set!! If U DON'T HAVE, U MUST BUY!!
Superb Quality!! I was not much of a "Superman" Fan, until I received this "Man of Steel" 2 DVD Set!! Well worth the Price; which is comparable to Store Purchase Price. I would much rather have it sent directly to MY house!!

One of the BEST Superman movies
Detailed Superman movie with Fine Script & Actors make for this Good Movie -- Henry Cavil has been in the running for the next Bond Actor...if he gets it, won't we have a Super-Bond?!!

Great.
One of the my favorite superhero films in my opinion. I wish Zach Snyder had of followed this formula in BvS. Im a fan of Man of Steel, but not BvS.

Great story and great special effects.
This is the best Superman movie of all, and I have seen them all. It's the most engaging, serious, most in depth and detailed story without some of the corniness some of the others have. Great movie!
