Ahead of it's time, Click and Point Game.
I rented this game when it first came out. Totally forgot about the name, because it got me so frustrated. Yet, I was compelled to play it. Never got to far though. I ran across an old video game magazine that I had that featured an article about "Silverload" and a light bulb went on in my head! That was the game that ticked me off years ago. The graphics are awesome for that time period and the music/game play is interesting. The only bad thing about this game is, once you have explored it all and done all things, the game interest is over. I'd also advise anyone who plays this game, to print off a walk through, so it'll be less frustrating to play. I rented this game when it first came out. It’s a great point and click adventure that also adds some neat ideas to the genre. For example there are first person shooting parts of this game, Time moves in this game and it’s set across 3 days. You have to sleep at night but make sure you secure your space or you won’t wake up in the morning. My biggest complaint about this game is that the cursor doesn’t change to let you know when you’re over an interactive object like it does in games like broken sword. Another small complaint is that the game has so many items you can buy and take but the inventory is space is limited and it can be confusing as to which items you will actually use later.
