Captivating account
This book was very hard to put down. Although incredibly heartbreaking to read about the terrible suffering endured by the people of Halifax, the small incidents and attitudes that led to such a disaster are clearly described by the author. He does a tremendous job of relaying the war time atmosphere that played such an important role in the disaster. It was heartwarming to read about all of the ways people from 2 nations came together across the border to aid the citizens of Halifax and to remember that after 9-11, the Canadians had a chance to repay that kindness to AmericaBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
