    Worked only the second time around

    The first injection didn't seal my 20 year old hermetically sealed central air, but the 2nd injection sealed and seems to be holding. Each shot costs over $50, so it isn't cheap, but neither is a visit from an AC repairman who tries to sell you a $15000 system pretending yours is too old to fix. Besides the cost of the rectorseal ampule, there is also the cost of R22 (in my case) at $20/pound (for which a repairman would charge $100/pound).

    So much easier to use than the "hyperdermic" style unit.
