Hornady Classic Single Stage Press
Very happy to have made this purchase even after a few of issues. Am able to move dies quickly between my AP n Classic because of die bushings-my reason for the purchase. But dies need to be adjusted. The handle wiggles, somewhat more than I expected. A lot of squeaks which I remedied by oiling the ram. Also, the pull lever needs to be operated with right hand as the front portion of the frame is offset to the right of the ram, placing it in the way when viewing the case and inconvenient when handling it. But still, the convenience of the LnL bushings make this a good press to accompany my AP. Otherwise, my 30 year old RCBS would serve me just fine.

Hornady Classic press, great AP companion
Bought it so I can easily move dies between my AP press (for non-precision loads) and the Classic press (for precision loads and load testing). I have limited space on my reloading table, so I have my AP to the right and the Classic to the left. Only negative thus far is that access to the ram is inconvenient from the right side.

Saving money
Patience, research and study can save you lots of cash. I paid 40 bucks for my first box of bullets and quickly realized that payback for a hand press was only about two hundred hand loaded bullets away. Plus I now have the ability to tune my load to the precision harmonics of my barrel and bullet. Do your home work and have some fun loading your perfect load.

I wish the priming attachment was included. Without it primers scatter on the floor. Still, good sturdy press. They make quality gear. I bought 2 - one for me and one for a friend starting out.
