Wonderful story, engaging, all around fun
The movie is as great as I remembered it to be. It is a wonderful story with such endearing characters! Who could not love Krista or Batty? There is also a very subtle message about conserving our natural resources that is even more relevant today than it was years ago when the movie was made. I can hardly wait until I can show this to my grandchildren.

Love the movie

Engaging and timeless
Ferngully has such a triumphant storyline, along with lovable characters and great original songs!! Robin Williams as "Batty" will have you and your kids laughing through the whole movie!!!

Love and Life lessons
A great cartoon that also teaches children and some adults! Beautiful color and characters. Great music too! I watched this with my grandchildren, and now my great grandkids will get to watch it!

A childhood favorite
It's about faeries that treasure the rainforest they use their magic to keep growing. Humans come along and cut down their rainforest home including a black tree of evil they used to trap a villainous poison Hexxus (voiced by Tim Curry). With the help of a human who was accidentally shrunk and a dorky bat who escaped a facility that does experiments on animals (voices by Robin Williams) the evil Hexxus is once again trapped and the perspective of the human who helped is forever changed for the better.

Taking Care of planet earth
Loved Robin William’s character the bat always makes me laugh even as an adult. Watched on earth day which was suitable with this movie makes us think what we are doing to our planet.
