The perfect upgrade to a P226
I LOVE this grip! The only mistake is that I didn't buy it a decade ago. The SIG P226 is a terrific pistol, but the factory grips were just a bit too smooth for my liking. The Hogue grip makes this pistol feel perfect, and the price is right. Other grips would cost at least double the price. Changing the grip was very easy and took less time than eating a piece of pie. Great feel to a great firearm!
I bought this Sig P226 used and it had a couple blems on the front of the mag well. I ordered these grips and they not only hide them blems but make the handgun feel solid in your hand. Awesome P226 Hogue grips!
Installed these on my brand new SIG P226 MK25. They fit perfectly and look excellent! Had no fitment issues whatsoever! The Hogue grips feel better in my hand compared to the factory plastic grips. Zero regrets buying these Hogue grips! Highly recommended and if you don't like the look of the factory slotted screws in the handles upgrade them to the Hogue extreme series hex screws for a cleaner look! Great grip!
Good fit. The seam where the grip comes together (it's a "wrap around") just needed slight sanding to make it "seamless", more comfortable. I do this to all my rubber grip seams. It looks good too.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

USE HOGUE GRIPS FOR MOST OF MY FIREARMS

Good but not as grippy
This grip is of good quality, fits the Sig perfectly, but they are not as grippy as other Hogue grips I have, and they are quite think, so if you have small to medium hands it may be too much for a comfortable grip.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Very Comfortable in the hand - may slow down a fast draw from concealment.
The ad did not disclose 2 aspects which can be important. 1. This grip will not work with early model Sig Sauer P226 unless you change a spring. Cost $5.00 plus $10.00 shipping. So this ads another $15. to the cost. 2. It may be necessary to purchase Hogue grip screws at additional cost of $8.00 plus shipping. Now the grip is excellent. Extremely comfortable and will improve any shooters comfort which means better placed shots. One caveat, If your using these grips on a concealed carry firearm you may not appreciate the stickier surface of the rubber grip because it may grab / create friction coming out of leather/kydex.
