true friends seeking the ultimate in Aspen!!
this was a really great movie of the 90's & the only film ever done about the high's & lows of the ski life it follows to close friends who leave Detroit to follow there ski ambition life in Aspen Colorado the overall photography is terrific of Aspen & the film shows as well dangers that also come along with the environment this film really should not be passed up alaround one of the best hidden gems from 1993!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Fun movie about skiing and its lifestyle!
This movie came out in the early 1990s. I was supposed to see this movie with my ski club, but it was pulled from the theaters before we were able to watch it. I had to rent it on video to watch it. Though it was dissed by the ski industry, I really enjoyed it. I am especially entranced by the scene where T.J. Burke skis the frozen waterfall. Entertaining..... and Paul Gross on skis!!! ............
It's a really good movie, with some GREAT ski shots..... and it's Paul Gross.... 'nuff said. I will never understand why he was never more recognized as an outstanding actor..... maybe because he stayed in Canada? It's a shame because no matter what is required..... riding a horse, skiing down a mountain, chasing a car on foot, a fist fight, Hamlet, a tongue-in-cheek line, a torrid kiss.... he delivers with expertise that puts you right there with him! Never any superfluous vulgarity or foul language, his movies are always completely enjoyable!! This one is a romp on the ski slopes of Aspen, some romance, some danger, some animosity, some mixed-up emotions..... and LOTS of snow!! This is a good movie about two buddies from Detroit, Michigan who leave their blue collar jobs behind and head for the Rocky Mountains of Aspen, Colorado to become ski instructors. The handsome one catches the eye of a beautiful business woman but ends up winning the heart of a local radio DJ.
