not worth the trouble
I've bought 2 bottles of this , needing a good UV resin quickly & just to cover my bases, from 2 different sellers. I was pretty disappointed that even with a 37 watt UV lamp, it took HOURS to have this set up & even after long exposure in direct sunlight, I could still make an imprint with my fingernail in the surface. I have since found another product called Solarez...I highly suggest anyone wanting to work with UV resin check it out, it will AMAZE you! I was thrilled the first time I used it, 1 minute!!!!! JUST 1 MINUTE in direct sunlight, it set up hard & no surface give at all, it was easy to keep air bubbles from forming & with the projects I was doing I used both the thin/hard & thick/hard.. both were definite winners!!! after WEEKS of dealing with the LP, I nearly cried with ... Packaging does not tell you how long in the sun for the product to harden ... nor how long under the UV light. The video online gives you that information - but really - it should be on the label, as not everyone can go to FireMountainGems to find out this information. Did NOT work at all under the UV light even for 20 minutes at a time. In the Texas heat - it did not set up in 10 minutes... after a half hour it did. this stuff is amazing, I hesitated to buy it, its a bit pricey for me but when I got it under the uv light and then set it in the sun omg it looked like I was polishing diamonds
