Life on a String
This movie highlights the struggles a single woman, in her 30's, has trying to raise two children, while she hasn't quite given up her teen age lifestyle. The plot approaches the reality her children face being left alone night after night while their mother dates different men every night, looking for some man to save her. Her daughter has an make believe cowboy friend whom she conversations with throughout the movie. He is a character out of an old western movie. The characters are believable, especially the local men, in the way they treat the women in their field of view. I believe men would find this somewhat boring, while women would get down right mad. I'm glad I didn't pay more for this movie, but for the price it's ok. Especially on a sleepless night when you have seen all of the TV reruns numerous times.
