The DOORS Val Kilmer's best movie

I love Jim Morrison but not the movie
I grew up with Jim Morrison and "the doors". This movie was not taken from fact a lot of it was from fiction. I have read probably 50 books on the subject and this movie was a great disappointment to me. They portrayed Jim Morrison as a dope. The Doors had a fabulous supporting cast to back Kilmer, especially Meg Ryan.
Val Kilmer's work to bring Jim Morrison back to life was staggering and brilluant. Clearly, Olver Stone has a vision to capture the rise, the delusion, and the disintegration that spoke to "that generation."
