Good price with drawbacks
The price is right but the clutch basket wobbles there's no fixing it I've seen other reviews and they say the same also it takes about 20 mph off your top end I had to put on a 2 tooth larger transmission pulley and 5 tooth smaller rear pulley to compensate for my top end loss the kit is easy to install and looks great but for the money I thought I'd save I ended up spending on pulleys and a belt which is a pretty laboring job in itself once again not a bad kit for the money but I wouldn't recommend unless you're a confident mechanic with access to parts if you put this on a good running bike as the kit comes you're going to be upset. Ultima Old School 2" Primary
Ultima Products are definitely cheaper and are manufactured in China...... SO, yes, there is that internal struggle with paying three times more for MADE IN THE USA vs running the risk of the usual made in China potential for (1) lack of quality control, (2) supporting an evil regime, (3) shipping heavy products around the world, (4) installing something from China on the American Icon that is the Harley Davidson 5) Weird instruction interpretations. Here are my honest findings. 1. I am completely satisfied with the quality and all parts were in the box! 2. I am rationalizing a bit, but Chinese people are working hard to make these parts... some small portion of this purchase price will make their lives better. 3. The bunker fuel burned getting this across the ocean won't kill any more animals than the first time I test the power capacity of this new belt drive 4. The $2,000 premium added on the purchase price of a $1,000 product "made in USA" is a bit steep for a motorcycle that is basically a seasonal toy. 5. The instructions, yes, a little vague. Check factory assembly
First of shipping and packaging awesome! However upon assembly clutch basket wobbles, read forums , very common issue/problem. What I found is the clutch basket tapered centering washer installed by manufacture (MWM) was put in backwards causing well in short the wobble.
