    Simple to use once you learn the tools short comings and the clips. like the saying goes, "you get what you pay for."

    The tools and clips leave a little more refinement. The clips does not completely fit the tools at first, needs a break-in period. At first I had to make some minor adjustments to the clips to fit into the the tool. then I had to reshape the tool at the clip end to be able to fit into the 1/2 x 1/2 hardware cloth (Metal Mesh) . Other than that it works well. grant it I do not have to make very many cages/traps. I know this in advance that this specific tools had some minor issues but I was able to grind the clipping end of the tool and with work it, it loosen up a little and the clips will fit into with a little bit of guidance. It real seems that the clips need a little better quality inspection. it seems that they were stamped two layers of material at a time, I say that is when i got ...

    Best tool around for cage building.

    Very simple to use and the connections are solid and sturdy. Nice comfortable handles, too. If you have never used one get a small piece of 5/8" hardware cloth and practice a few simple box's. You'll catch on real quick. There are some good how to videos on youtube.

    Good product easy to use multiple uses

    Good product the pliers work well and J clips are easy to use . I used the J- clips to make a crawfish trap. I can see multiple uses for this product

    wire cage clip pliers

    Excellent product. Completely closes the clip whereas other I have used requires additional use of normal plies to close completely. High recommend.
