Product Information

The most ambitious peripheral-driven game at the time of its release, Rock Band encourages aspiring musicians to drum, strum, or hum to classic and current rock songs instead of being limited to one specific part. Developer Harmonix Music Systems, who created both the acclaimed Guitar Hero and Karaoke Revolution franchises, expands the rhythm genre by introducing a four-player cooperative title featuring four distinct roles: drums, lead guitar, bass guitar, and vocals. To support this endeavor, Rock Band offers a custom designed drum kit, microphone, and guitar peripheral, all of which can be purchased separately or together with the "special edition" bundle.<br><br>Fans of the developer's previous hits will feel right at home with Rock Band, as the underlying engine incorporates many of the same ideas. To "play" the sound with your selected peripheral, you must hit the right color-coordinated notes in time to the music. The singing aspect is identical to the one used in Karaoke Revolution, where your voice's pitch and phrasing is scored on how close you croon to the selected track. The PlayStation 2 version is missing a few features found in both the Xbox 360 and PS3 games. Players cannot create custom rockers, for example, and the World Tour mode simply offers a track list instead of multiple venues. While 45 licensed songs are included, Rock Band on PlayStation 2 does not support online downloads for additional content.

Then, we experienced an unexpected issue with USPS that was not sellers fault. They stepped in and advocated for me to the USPS until they corrected the issue. When I did receive everything, it was in fantastic condition, appearance was exactly as described, while it was expensive - great value. A+

    Seller took over a week to ship the item, and it only went out after I followed up multiple times. This delay caused a financial loss on my end, so I reasonably requested some form of compensation. Instead of understanding the impact, the seller responded with hostility and refused to take accountability. Very disappointing experience — poor communication, lack of professionalism, and no regard for customer service. Would not purchase from again.

    The object never came so I wouldn’t know the quality or condition of it. Shipping would’ve been longer as it has already been around two weeks. I contacted the seller and what they say about 99% feedback is a scam because they never answered me and I’m currently waiting on my money back. Wouldn’t buy from them again, i recommend others to not bury from this individual either.

    FUN GAME FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!

    I bought this game because the original game I had was scratched up and no longer playing some of the songs. Once I received my order I was ready to play, but after the second time of playing the game it wouldn't read on my PS2 system (fat). So I tried putting a different game in (actually a few) which worked. So then I decided to do some research as to why Rock Band wasn't playing on my system..After reading what others have experienced someone pointed out that maybe the system needed to be cleaned out so I decided to do just that and well behold! I figured out the problem. Now the game works properly and I am a happy camper. I give this game 2 thumbs up Its so much fun to play with family and friends.     Great Gameplay, but old school technology!

    This is a great game, played it 15 years ago and wanted another go. TV's and processors have advanced quite a bit since this game was made, so realize you will get some FPS slipping on occasion when working with a PS3. Otherwise still a great game, and still an online community out there to hook up with for play. The song collection is great, even better with Rock Band 2, which ports in all the songs from RB 1 if you have it in your library.

    Not a single scratch.

    I was amazed at the quality of this game. Not a single scratch. I expected some wear but its virtually flawless. Thanks!!!!! 5stars all around.
