    A good book to help with modern surgical instrumentation for the operating room

    This is one of the few best books for learning about surgical instrumentation specifically for surgeries in the OR. It sorts the instrumentation based on type of operation; my only complaint is that it tends to have only up-to-date types of surgeries, which means that if one is involved in a surgery that is being conducted in an old method (e.g. what is done in medical missions abroad such asin Latin America, India, and Africa), then this book is too new. Get an older edition might help.
