    Start with Lee molds.

    These Lee bullet molds are excellent products especially for the beginner but also for the experienced caster. They not only make bullets of perfectly acceptable quality, but they do so at a price that is affordable for beginning casters like myself. Even with no prior casting experience, I was able to get useable bullets after only a few attempts and the quality keeps improving with practice. At under $30 per mold, I can have molds for several different weights without spending a fortune. And if I did damage and ruin one by mistake, it doesn't hurt as bad as it would with a $80-150 mold. Of course, there will always be Mr. Moneybags who says they would never consider such a cheap mold and they are not even worth the time to try one. I would recommend starting with a Lee mold and ...

    Nice light round!

    Nice bullet. I made some low recoil, not-so-loud rounds for my .38 snubby using Trail Boss powder with these. They sound like a .22 or maybe 22 Mag, but at 125 grains they are more powerful. I use these around my farm for potential varmint control in those moments where you don't have hearing protection available.

    Another disappointment from Lee

    I've been casting and loading my own since a boy in the late 50's. I used iron moulds. In the 70's Lee came out with the aluminum moulds. I tried a couple, but wasn't impressed. I remained using iron... Lee has redesigned their moulds recently, and the 125gr RNFP bullet intrigued me. The design is great. I bought the mould with a mild anticipation of it being better than the Lee moulds of the past. Boy, was I ever wrong! The mould was prepared according to the instructions, and warmed up properly. The end result was pitiful. Out of 100 cast, only 10 were acceptable. At a 90% failure rate, I will not own any more Lee moulds. Their "improvement" over their moulds proved to be just market hype. I tossed it in the thrash, and will continue with the quality iron moulds I've used over the ...

    Mold works great easy to use and makes a nice bullet. I have quite a few of these molds and they all work great.

    I've got some other Lee products.. and once you gonna use Lee.. you don't want something else...

    Great handling of the mold and very goed castings.. Easy to use with the Lee meltpot Great combo!!!
