    All in all, quite a page turner.

    THIS is the kind of writing that made me a Baldacci fan. It's been awhile since I've read THE 6TH MAN, so I kind of forgot who Edgar was and how Michelle got hurt. But enough was explained to get me past that and into this story line. I never really understood the Iran-Contra scandal, and didn't really understand the concept of money laundering via poppies and heroin in this book. Even Edgar's explanation went over my head. That's why I detracted a star. All in all, quite a page turner. The copy I received was an old library book, complete with all the stickers and stamps -- and a slightly broken spine. But the listing said that it might be. The book's condition did not detract from its readability.

    David Baldacci can't write fast enough for me to read most of what he's written. The library didn't have this title so I finally decided to buy it. The condition is excellent and the price was good. This is the last book in the King and Maxwell series. I haven't read it because I'm in the middle of another of his books.
