Its up to the installer to check for proper clearance on the bushing.. If there was an issue We could have replaced the bushing before the "melt down" As for the lift and duration It says it all in the title Aftermarket and includes no measurements specs. Its a great Value Replacement Regardless of the measurements and proven work well. Your situation is a unique one off event likey due to a bushing flaw
