So far so good
The GPU is performing smoothly and quietly as it should. It fired up my 23" 2005 Cinema Display (dvi) and fit snugly in pcie slot one but it took up two of the 4 spaces in the 2006 Mac Pro 1,1 that I've finally brought up to relevancy.

Old graphics card, but still a good upgrade
Despite being an old graphics card nowadays, it was a good upgrade for an even older graphics card I had. Simply worked in Mac OS X with no problems at all. It was plug and play.

Used Genuine Apple Product in Great Condition
It's a genuine Apple graphic card performs as what it supposed to. Card is in very clean and good condition. Seems like barely used. Enables support on QHD (2556 x 1440) monitor. Used it for 2006 Mac Pro 1.1. Plug & Play without any issue.

Started with a bang, ended with a pop!
It had started off great but then after a while, I noticed that my screen cut off. I found myself turning it off and on the desktop; at first it stayed on but then it cut off. With the graphic card I had before, it didn't happen so now, I have a graphic card that I can use as a paperweight.

Cheap and easy
Works great, allowed my old 2009 Mac Pro to drive a 2560x1440 monitor. You'll want to look at youtube install videos as it isn't obvious how this new larger card goes into an old 2009 with a tiny video card.

Great upgrade for a 2006+ Mac Pro
It was an easy installation, with the supplied power cable that connects directly Intro the the Mac Pro motherboard. Very quiet card that brings new life to an aging Mac.

Apple ATI Radeon
This card allowed me to take my first gen Mac Pro 1.1 up to Mac OS 10.11. Card works perfectly and shows full Mac OS Apple logo startup screen. Make sure you get the Apple OEM card and not a flashed PC card otherwise you will not see startup screen.

Meets the minimum requirements I ask of it
My OEM 5770 in my 2010 Mac Pro died after a decade of heavy use. I use it to run 3 HD monitors in a post production audio studio (two pro tools monitors plus projectors in both the control room and ADR booth- they share the same split signal). Because of my Pro Tools HDX PCIE card I don't have enough convenient power ports to use a video card that requires more than one. This card does it just fine. I did need to adapt the outputs to use HDMI cables, but that's not a problem. I don't use it for gaming or video editing, so I don't ask a lot from it. It's the minimum necessary to do what I do and it's sufficient.

Very nice for 2.8-GHz 8-core Mac Pro (Early 2008)!
The Genuine Apple ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB Graphics Card for the Mac Pro (MC742ZM/A) unit and cable arrived on time and installed easily using the supplied mini-power cable that attaches to the motherboard. Clear instructions, and it displays the complete boot screen sequence. Purchased from macmotive. Very happy!
