    The Best Non-Hammer Studios Frankenstein film in a long time!

    VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN is a breath of fresh air after several faltering attempts at retelling Mary Shelly's famous gothic horror novel. What I dug about this film was its look and feel, making it a proper Frankenstein film that lovely (and not slavishly) gave nods to the Hammer Studio's run back in the 1950s-70s. The monster is a beast, and I wish it had more of a role in the film. The film's steady pacing and excellent practical effects make for a night of good ol' monster and mad scientist thrills and chills.

    A new idea on an timeless tale.

    I'am not the ultimat monster movie fan but the new detail added to the main characters gives the story alot more depth and interest. I normaly don't like to give the story away . Igor played by Daniel Radcliff had the twist that made all the difference. Not to forget Fankenstein reinvented ,I will suggest this movie to any especialy those who have seen the classic versions.

    FRANKENSTEIN OR "HYDE"

    What a fascinating movie!! It is pretty much what you may expect in a Dr. Frankenstein movie, but with a MUCH BETTER story line and so many twists, you may think you are on a roller coaster!!! The graphics/special effects are top-notch and the acting is spot-on from both Radcliff and McAvoy!! Some of the development of the cadavers into the monsters are very graphic and realistic, so you may become grossed-out at those points, but realism makes it all that much better. From start to finish, you will be happy...that you FINALLY see a Frankenstein movie that has a story line that is truly realistic and all the parts are included from the beginning of time until the final climactic ending. This is a must-see movie for sure!!!!!! You won't be disappointed! Enjoy!!

    It lacked Real Horror . The movie seemed more about Igor than Victor

    They had the money to make a good movie and had the CGI special effects to make a fantastic remake but when it came down to the story , at best it was a PG movie .. It lacked Horror and the rarely spoken character of the monster was just a CGI enhanced man in a rubber suit .. Frankenstein The True Story was a much better attempt at Frankenstein's Character ..
