    OBDLink MX+ easy to use, excellent app

    I have 40 years experience working on mostly older cars from the 60s, 70s and 80s. It is embarrassing to admit that this is the first OBD reader I have ever used. So being an old fart, I was unsure what product to buy, but after some research comparing different OBD readers and reading a few user reviews, I spent a bit more money ($99) then I originally wanted to spend and purchased the OBDLink MX+ because 1) no annual subscription fees, 2) it reads both generic and manufacturer specific codes, 3) it has ability to conduct testing and provide analysis while driving under real conditions, 4) it has wireless (Bluetooth) communication so it will work with my smart phone. The the reader and app were very easy to pair/sync to each other, and the app setup took less than 2 minutes to add my ...

    Great!!!!

    This OBD is phenomenal and processes information from the vehicle within seconds. I had to check my wife’s car and took it to my mechanic and showed him my OBD Link and he was very impressed with it and even tried to keep it.. He also stated that it is a very good Bluetooth tool to have in my possession.. He is also going to purchase one for himself without carrying his big OBD.. Overall great product Kevin

    Good for what it does....

    This is a necessary PART of what's needed for changing the ECU of the vehicles listed. What's not being told is in order to make changes...if you just want a diagnostic tool than this alone will work fine...you need the AlphaOBD download and app...($50) Why they can't just bundle it I don't know. Just know that in order to make changes you MUST have an Android device...i.e. tablet or phone in which to download the app to. The only Apple functionality is with the MX+ and that is simply diagnostics.

    An Absolute Necessary Tool

    I tinker with my cars and had no real way to see and monitor how they were performing especially in some details that a scan tool would be needed for. This diagnosis tool isn't only user friendly for stats and engine management, it's actually a blast with the performance feature. Guys it has the coveted 0-60 gauge as well as the 1/4 mile, stop thinking about it and order it!!!
