The 17mm ball heads on this new item fits my 2015 model Tomtom Via 280 (Australia). The ball diameter is correct, but as I knew beforehand, I had to file a groove into one of the balls, similar to the original mount, but it now fits into the Tomtom. With the extra swivel points (3 compared to the original 1 on the Tomtom) I have more control over where I place it. It will keep me going for the next few years.
