Product Information

This sequel to 2009's Dragon Age follows the rise of a penniless refugee named Hawke as he (or she, depending on the gender you choose when starting the game) gains fame and fortune by undertaking a number of heroic or potentially ruthless acts over the course of ten years. Scarred by the destruction of his home, Hawke will join forces with a number of colorful characters to defeat the darkspawn infesting the land. The storytelling is notable for adopting a frame narrative structure, with a narrator recounting Hawke's achievements with varying levels of authenticity.<br><br>Your decisions will ultimately help shape Hawke's future, starting with his skills as a mage, rogue, or warrior, and influence the narrator's story. Hawke can enlist the help of three companions during the game, and as in the original Dragon Age, characters will converse with each other and some can even be romanced. Additional combat mechanics have been incorporated into the battle phase, and a new visual style is included to enhance the third-person RPG's presentation. The principal setting for the game is Kirkwall, a region surrounded by mountains and home to corrupt politics, shantytowns, and other surprises.

    I miss the Dragon Age gameplay and looks of the previous two...

    Controls are way too complex and difficult compared to the ease of the first two titles. Felt like I was playing a game cloned from a completely different game. Was very disappointing. I miss the Dragon Age gameplay and looks of the previous two. Those were far easier to figure out the controls and just as easy to remember them. With Inquisition not only do u have to go online just to see the manual but nothing feels the same as the first two games and none of the controls are even similar to what we had in the first two. I really don't care about multiplayer, especially not if it means changing everything so you don't even recognize it anymore. I was so excited to play this at first and while I was very interested in making a Qunari character all my excitement died quickly as soon as I ...

    Spy-ware hidden in a game format

    Unlike the first of the Dragon Age series, this one HAS to be ran through a "client" online. This client is called Origin and part of their sign in agreements allows them to download screen shots of your desktop and pull file lists off your computer. If you want SPY-WARE, go ahead and buy this, or any other Electronic Arts programs now that I think of it!

    old title but new game at a good price. install was held up by a date-time reconcile error, but downloading a patch from EA helped.
