Not perfect but far from bad
The Jabra Talk 45 headset is a great value considering how easy it is to use. Charging is very straightforward using the mini-USB plug (included) and the port has a fairly decent rubberized cover that fits flush with the mic extension. A red status light turns off when the battery is charged. Pairing with an iPhone is really quick and easy, too, if you know to press the feature button on the Talk 45 for three seconds after turning on the power switch. My phone recognizes the device almost instantly and automatically every time I use it. The device plays decent audio (mono, of course) from whatever music, podcast, or video I happen to have on my phone. Nice. My only two complaints are fairly minor and plague nearly every earbud style headset: 1) The earpiece can become a bit uncomfortable after extended wear (2+ hours for me). This can be mitigated to an extent by readjusting the clear plastic wrap around holder and not cramming it all into my ear to start with, but it seems to be almost inevitable. 2) Sound quality is good but not robust - for either user or the party on the other end. I’ve had to switch from the Talk 45 back to defaulting back to holding my phone against my head whenever the person I’m talking to has complained. Would I purchase them again knowing that? Probably.

Works well for me
I really like this. I usually never wear these kind of Bluetooth earpieces. I've been buying ear buds with a microphone and just putting one in. That way I can listen to my podcasts while working. It just made sense to buy this because you can do that but also the phone calls are super clear for me and the person on the other end. The battery just makes it through my 8 hour day. I am definitely satisfied with this product. I don't have to worry about it falling out of my ear either. As far as I'm concerned I will stick with Jabra talk for my work needs in the future. I'm glad I got to try it. The price is what attracted me to it but now that I've tried it the quality will keep me as a customer. This is just my opinion. Do with it what you will.

Great sound quality, variable battery life
I bought this to replace an inexpensive plantronics that I used to death -(its volume control stopped working and it didn't always stay connected). This Jabra 45 feels better built, and the sound quality is fantastic - my friends on the other end of the phone noticed immediately, and so did I. The problem is battery life. The first time I turned it on after charging overnght, it told me I had a little over six hours. That seemed fine to me. But after a few days of use during the day, and leaving on the charger overnight, I have found that talk time varies massively - one day I picked it up before I was going out and it said I had 3 hours - on a day when I wasn't going to be near a charger. Today I am back at my desk, and I have 6 hours again. It seems to vary between these two extremes, but I can't figure out why. It also doesn't reconnect if I stray too far from the phone, then come back - my Plantronics would immediately reconnect. I can live with that - if you click the earpiece, sometimes it reconnects, otherwise I have to turn it on and off.

Worth every penny
This headset is very well-designed has good sound and from what I understand good sound on the other end also very easy to pair the only reason I didn't give it five stars was because it didn't have extra ear clips. Would definitely recommend

Nice Headset
The sensitivity of the mic is great, the sound quality is very good, and the range is better than average but not quite as good as some other headsets. This headset has an on/off switch that doesn't accidentally turn on in your pocket, which is important. For some reason there's no volume control in the headset, so you have to be near the phone to adjust it. The battery life is a solid six hours of talk time. I am happy with this headset. It's the best combination of features at a good price I've found, even though it's not perfect.

Great unit, good battery but needs volume control.
Nice features, easy to use. The only downside is it doesn’t have a volume control.

Everything I want in a headset
Works very well. You can do phone calls, listen to music, or use it to watch videos. I had trouble getting it to pair with my iPhone, but did a search about the problem and found out I needed to turn my phone off and restart it first. After doing that it paired right away. If it’s turned off in my pocket and I get a phone call I can turn it on, put it in my ear, and I’m already on the call. It recharges from a USB cord rather than a dedicated charging dock, so charging while traveling is easy. Tap the side button and it tells you it’s connected and how much talk time you have left, which is up to six hours. Tap the side button and incoming calls will pick up, and tap it again to end the call. It also has a dedicated “Siri” button. I like that it has a slide switch for power so I definitely know whether it’s on or off. Volume needs to be adjusted from the phone, so if you’re a few feet away you’ll need to go back to it to do that. Sound quality is very good and the people I’m talking to say the same. It’s pretty much everything I want in a Bluetooth headset and nothing I don’t want. I definitely recommend it.

Review of Jabra Talk 45
I works good, only wish the battery life was a little better on it, although it still works very amazing. Amazing sound quality, and noise cancellation. Also very little sound comes out on the outside of the headset while in ear.

Pushing Button to Andwer Calls
Don’t seem or I can’t figure out if there’s a button to push to answer calls. I was more used to this than because of my old Jawbone earpiece. The Jabra feels like a better fit that the Jawbone. Very nice feature allowing to say “Answer” to automatically answer calls via bluetooth while wearing it without pushing buttons. Both have nice sound & reception quality.

Great headset
I was needing a blue tooth head set to use in my company vehicle as we must be hands free. A friend recommended this Jabra model. I ordered and I am pleased with the performance of the unit. It is comfortable to wear. Does not hurt my ear. I can wear it all day and it is easy to forget you have it in your ear. I did have to play with the different provided ear pieces to find the one that fit my ear best. I like that I can do Siri with push of a button. I would recommend.
