fantastic little products
good little DC controller, easy to use and a quality made product. I've had mine for a few years and it definitely beats all the other dc controllers from Hornby in the past. very much would recommend for model railway users who opt for DC layouts

Easy to set up, use and enjoy on a DC model train set.
This is a good high quality DC model train controller from Gaugemaster that is rated at 0.75amp outputs and there is a second output of 16 volts AC for powering things like signals, lights at stations etc. The controller is easy to use with a dial and a three way switch for forwards, neutral and reverse. I use this on my new O gauge model railway I now have and it can handle that too although it is designed for N gauge and OO gauge model trains. It can handle O gauge so long as the model trains are not too demanding on current. It is made in the UK as well and you will get a UK power pack for this to run off the mains. Lightweight and easy to use. Just plug it in and go! A powerful and compact little controller.
I was searching for a controller to use on my model railway test track,as I studied the various reviews of other controllers and decided that this controller was the one I wanted to purchase and use.It is so easy to set up as when the controller arrived in it's box it was well packed as there was even a little screwdriver included to help you connect the wires,this controller has great response when running your rolling stock it is very compact,and very easy to use,I would certainly recommend this controller to anyone that is looking for a controller to start of there layout,or to use on a test track,as I feel it is great value for money.I was searching for a controller to use on my model railway test track,as I studied the various reviews of other controllers and decided that this controller was the one I wanted to purchase and use.It is so easy to set up as when the controller arrived in it's box it was well packed as there was even a little screwdriver included to help you connect the wires,this controller has great response when running your rolling stock it is very compact,and very easy to use,I would certainly recommend this controller to anyone that is looking for a controller to start of there layout,or to use on a test track,as I feel it is great value for money.

Good quality trainset controller upgrade
Had been struggling for a couple if years with son's Hornby train set the cheap Hornby controllers would cut out after 10 minutes tried several old and new types to no avail. Especially didn't like the slightly older 1980s made in GB Hornby trains, didn't dare try my triang ones. But this works a treat more expensive than the cheap Hornby ones but much better doesn't cut out, at low speed is alot more controllable, he can use it for shunting and full speeds trains much quicker. It supplies a full 1Amp but is also much better built, very smooth control.
