    I'm Very Happy With My 10th Gen/8GB Paperwhite!

    It's small but I'm getting used to it and it's easy to hold. (I still lick my finger when I go to turn the page). I had to buy a cover for it separately. Also the charging on my computer takes forever so I used the power adapter for my cell phone so I could charge directly from the wall outlet instead of the computer and I get a faster charge. I'm happy with it. I am book junkie and this works for me. With kindle unlimited I'll never run out of something to read. The longer you read each day the more you will have to recharge, but for stop and go readers it lasts a long time. Get a cover so you don't bang it up or scratch up the screen like a cellphone. If I ever get another, I might like a little larger screen so I wouldn't have to turn the page so often. (Lot's of help videos on Youtube ...

    Lightweight, no glare, backlight lets you read in the dark

    Really like the ability to set the backlight feature. Having the ability to listen to audiobooks without disturbing anyone around me is wonderful. I even like where it reads the story to you and you can follow along in the book. The one draw back is I wish the home screen could be cleaner It is so jumbled wit, your list current book you are reading, and recommendations. I would like to see the home screen leaner. I know they said paperwhite carries a battery life that last weeks if not a month, the last charge lasted only 10-14 days. I was not that impressed, it was a let down. All in all I am enjoying my first paperwhite. It is lightweight, very on the go friendly. The one funny is the day I paid for my paperwhite on Ebay Amazon lowered the price to 99.99.     Small and light, but undependable

    Te device is smaller than a Kindle Fire, but big enough to read. It is readable outside, which the Fire barely is. Images of anything but text are not very good, but text is excellent. However, the screen reacts erratically to touch. Sometimes the page will turn and other times it won't. It will freeze up and then do a series of random things, such as change the font size there or four times, then page back and forth several times, and then lock up. After it "sleeps" for a while it may work for a while, or it might just do random things again. It is undependable and I wouldn't trust it as the only reading material I took on a trip.

    Works great

    Great deal. I use this Paperwhite every day and the battery life is so much longer than a phone. Perfect size to fit in a crossbody purse and easily links to my phone hotspot on the off chance that I want to download a book when I'm not home.

    Some good features but slow

    I bought this reader for vacation at the beach. It is waterproof and can be read in the sun. I am used to my iPad however and this device seems slow by comparison but the the price is a fraction of an iPad. All in all a decent product.
