Not it is perfectly black/white - 100% Also this doesn't make any whining noise. Really fast professional shipping via Fedex and packaged well. I will definitely buy this exact brand again for other printers.To reset the Drum life on a HL-L2340W - open the toner door, press down OK until drum appears, down arrow and you can reset it. I dont know my original drum failed but this solved it.
