    Don't waste your money

    All I can say is they don't make them as good any more , the shovel is so thin that you can twists it in your hand , the bucket is slightly sturdier but not by much. I am keeping it as i need it but I am looking for an old brass one so I have something sturdy. I brought a oval baking dish to put hot fire ash in as I don't think the bucket bottom would take to many hot ash loads, but it is I nice looking bucket to put the briquettes in

    Coal bucket

    Nice little bucket,smaller than it appears in photos but just the job for me. I knew it was going to be small but adequate for this little old lady, wouldn’t have been able to lift it full of coal otherwise. Quick prompt delivery, very pleased.

    Not big or heavy duty, but fine for the fireside

    I have used this bucket and its companion shovel every day for over a week now. It takes moderate abuse, with coal shovelled in every morning. It also takes the ashes out to the bin. The shovel is the perfect size for emptying the grate. Made of relatively low gauge steel, it wouldn’t last long outside, but it won’t have to here. Very happy with it.

    Pretty good value

    It looks good and holds about the right amount of coal briquettes. Good value, came well packed and on time. Some black paint had flaked off in a couple of places and the metal is probably on the thin side, but for the price its a good deal.

    Just what the fire maker wanted.

    I like this product because it holds enough for 2 nights with some logs and as an old lady (84) it is easily light enough for me to carry with no difficulty. My last one was heavy before it had anything in it so this is wonderful. It looks strong and well made with a handle which is convenient for carrying and the shovel exactly fits the front where you get the coal and helps to guide coal the right way. At the price excellent value. I just have to see how long it lasts but 12 months would be good for the money
