If you like psychological thrillers you should at least put this on your list.
This movie is pretty engaging if you are into the serial killer type movies like Hannibal, although this movie is way more artistic and visual. The characters have you take a good look at how these types of people can be created in an extreme way and how you still can have compassion for them even when they do horrible things. Fascinating journey into another's subconscious
While not a great fan of Jennifer Lopez, I enjoyed her in this movie. The casting was fabulous, no more than Vincent D'Onofrio, who I couldn't take my eyes off of. His performance as a tortured inner child damaged from a life of orthodox religion and child abuse was rivoting. This movie reflects a reality, which is that each and every one of us still has a version of ourselves as a child living inside of us.
