This battery (aka capacitor) has a copper connector and unlike non rechargeable batteries must be installed in a certain position so that the copper tab makes the necessary contact. After trial and error and searching I managed to find a Youtube entry that showed a watch movement similiar to my watch and which also uses the MT516 battery. After correctly repositioning the battery & charging it, the watch is now working..

The movement shipped in a plastic bag inside a hard plastic container inside a box filled with paper wrap stuffing. To top it off the vendor was quick to respond on a question I had. Have used vendor in the past and will use in the future.

Posted ASAP but couriers took weeks getting from one side of the US to the other but that’s nothing to do with seller, once in the UK it got to me within the week.
