    Snap ring pliers (master cylinder )

    This tool proved to be helpful for snap ring removal on my brothers Suzuki vs 800 intruder. We bought a clutch master cylinder kit to install. YouTube video showed a guy using these pliers. The job went pretty much like the guy showed except we were doing the clutch m/c. I did notice I had to rotate the snap ring with the pliers in the right spot to get a good grip on it....so I could extract it. The snap rings sets in the lever assembly quite deep ...so these are a must have . A little pricey. But if you work on your own motorcycles etc. It saves alot of grief.

    Quality tool, wish I had it from the start.

    I struggled with the clutch master cylinder on my Goldwing for a few weeks. I have a few pairs of snap ring pliers with interchangeable tips but was unsuccessful at removing the snap ring due to limited space to position the pliers I had. The tools I had either couldn't get the proper angle to reach the snap ring or when I could get the proper angle, the tool didn't extend far enough into the bore to reach the snap ring. As you can see in the item description this tool has a 90 degree end but also extremely long tips. This allowed me to remove the snap ring that I had struggled with for weeks in a matter of seconds. The pliers are very well built and will last a life time. At approximately $25 and free shipping, I thought the price was a little steep for something I might only use 1 ...

    One of the pins bent and broke off, but ...

    One of the pins bent and broke off, but I managed to extract the rusted circlip. For these bad conditions, this tool worked out. To get the circlip back in, I had to grind one of the legs to create a new pin. It was one of those jobs.

    Just the tool I needed

    Great tool. I had to grind the arm tips diameter down to make them small enough to get to the snap rings on my kz650 master cylinder but we're still sturdy enough to remove snap rings

    Necessary for a front brake master cylinder rebuild

    Tried 4 different pairs of snap ring pliers to install the snap ring in my front brake master cylinder. None of them worked. The Motion Pro Pliers installed the snap ring in seconds.
