The carry strap has the hooks on it instead of the loops. The sale diagram shows the hooks on the carry bag instead so the shoulder strap can be used on the tripod only. FedEx showed delivery on Friday, but wasn't delivered till Saturday to the best of my knowledge and I traced it down to the grocery shop next door!

Feature packed Sirui W2204 tripod
This is a relative lightweight carbon tripod for the size with an outstanding feature set. It is well built with premium materials and has seals in each twist lock to keep out sand and water. The legs are from 29.4mm to 18.5mm, so are larger than series 2 but less than series 3 tripods of Gitzo. Large soft rubber grips will lock in about a half to a third turn. Extending/retracting legs are very smooth despite waterproof seals. Rubber feet can be replaced with spikes for more stability. Careful thought went into the engineering and construction of this tripod as the fit, finish and extra pins to ensure the carbon to aluminum joints do not come apart. An example is the 12" bolt for the long column is mainly made out of carbon, reducing weight even though this is normally hidden in ... So far, only the waterproofing has been tried with the legs retracted and it works. It remains to be seen how this unit holds up in the long run, but not having to worry about using this in harsh conditions makes it more likely to be taken and used everywhere. Pros: Waterproof legs,short column conversion with removal of weight hook and addition of new one (included) Legs fold back 180 degrees and there is enough room for a small/med tripod ball head that should not protrude beyond the legs. One leg can be converted to monopod. Compact size, will it in most luggage. All the tools and accessories come with the unit. Price Cons: Slightly less stable than comparable Gitzo (this is in lateral stiffness only when twisted from the center column support. Weight: 3.85lbs; you can remove 75% of the long column and get it down to 3.5lbs with short column Height: 70.2" max, 57.3" column recessed, 20.5" folded and <7" with short column, legs spread Accessories: comes with padded case, strap, tools, extra wide mount with reversible 1/4 & 3/8" thread, spikes, hand strap for monopod and weight hook for the short column.

Serious landscape photographers tripod, needs solid 1 piece centre column and available spare parts.
Great quality tripod. What I don't like is the two piece centre column that all falls to pieces when you undo it to turn it upside down in the neck. Off trail, freezing cold hands in the Winter, standing in flowing streams or on mountainsides, great way to lose parts and be stuck without a tripod. Since my purchase, I have read several reviews where people can't get spare parts. With the different type thread for the rubber feet, seems this is also a concern! A one piece solid centre column with a spring loaded button release that doesn't have to be removed would be an awesome addition to what is supposed to be a great landscape tripod!Great quality tripod. After 15 tripods I found a real winner
Very solid for a tripod for this weight. I been photographing for more than 60 years and have owned many tripods including Gitzo, Induro, Benro and Manfrotto and others. This is very well made and gives you more tripod for your money than other brands. Well built and easy to carry and use. The Siriu ballheads are cery smooth in operation and a re a great value too.

Light and very convenient
Spent a week with this tripod in Iceland and was very happy with it! The only thing disappointing is that spikes have to be attached separately. I liked the ones made by Vanguard, when you spin the rubber pads on legs and spikes appear. Here you have to carry them separately and attach when you need. Unfortunately I could not have the spikes attached all the time because there was a lot shooting at a sea shore and I needed the tripod to stand firmly on the wet sand. AnywaySpent a week with this tripod in Iceland and was very happy with it! The only thing disappointing is that spikes have to be attached separately. I liked the ones made by Vanguard, when you spin the rubber pads on legs and spikes appear. Here you have to carry them separately and attach when you need. Unfortunately I could not have the spikes attached all the time because there was a lot shooting at a sea shore and I needed the tripod to stand firmly on the wet sand. Anyway
