It works well within the dark confines of a watch body but be careful as since it is lithium, if it were to explode your arm may be damaged causing a trip to the ER. It has the advantage of light weight weighing way less than five pounds. Be sure you let the TSA know you are wearing a watch that has a lithium battery in it so that they can take precautions, if you are flying.

After installing the battery and setting it in the sun, it started right away! This was the cheapest one for a single battery that I could find, and it arrived promptly just as advertised. I decided to try my luck after realizing that Citizen only has a 5-year warranty, and it lasted almost 10 before dying.
