Product Information

Along with its companion game The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons is one of the first two Legend of Zelda games developed originally for the Game Boy Color. In this adventure, the hearty hero Link is transported to the land of Holodrum, where he watches with dismay as a storm-wielding giant kidnaps a beautiful young woman named Din. Link soon discovers that Din is the Oracle of Seasons and that all the land is in grave danger as long as the evil giant holds her in his clutches. <br><br>Link makes another strange discovery when he gains possession of the mysterious Rod of Seasons, a magical device that allows him to change summer to winter or spring to fall. By using the powers of this magical relic, Link may yet be able to travel to the most remote areas of the land, collecting the items and information he'll need to rescue the beautiful Din. All the hopes of Holodrum depend on it.<br><br>Although both this release and its companion Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages are full-fledged, stand-alone games, players that solve one of the adventures will be given a password that can be used in the other. Starting the second adventure with a password from the first allows character names and some items and abilities to be carried over, giving the already seasoned adventurer a well-deserved advantage as he begins his next quest.

    Game Doesn't Save

    Game runs fine on my GBA , but the battery was dead on arrival; doesn't save (dispite description stating "perfect condition" & "tested" lol). Tried through save state as well- there's a UI you can pull up from the Goomba Color emulator (shoulder buttons). Disappointed, really wanted to go through it on my GBA; looks like I'll have to solder one in there myself. Guess that's what I get for buying homebrew dumps.

    Item works. Pins on the game were pretty worn and it would have helped to have seen that before buying. Wouldn’t call it in “very good” condition, but I’m satisfied with the purchase overall.

    Oracle of Seasons!

    What can I say, once again Nintendo has not failed to produce a wonderful and compelling Zelda game for the GameBoy Color. There wasn't a doubt in my mind that Nintendo wasn't going to fail to impress me.
