    Perspective is everything.

    Wonderful to read from Jim's point of view. Reminds me of reading Beowulf and then reading Grendel. Perspective is everything. There are three perspectives: how one sees it, how one thinks others see it, and how it really is.

    Incredible and piercing book

    I loved the book "James" by Percival Everett. It was piercing at times to realize with stark clarity the abominable treatment of people of color. I highly recommend the book. It was incredibly worthwhile to read.
