Unfortunately I just arrived to open the 3 purchases & the other two's feedback option had already closed - one seller is refusing to accept responsibility for selling a previously broken product. Item arrived poorly glued back together w/broken nozzle. DO NOT USE abcdenise506j. 1st pic is her ad & you can just see the foam under the coat which I didn't notice.

    Amazing illustrations

    The book itself is amazing, the illustrations even more so and help the reader grasp the story. It covers a lot of history throughout Westros and the Free Cities; The slave Cities, etc. If you are a hard core GOT nerd, this is a must have. Only downside is it is written by a maester; which is kinda cool but also very one sided in some aspects. If you are a fan you know that the citadel don't condone magic, so some of the legends I think are closed over due to it being from a maesters view point. The start is a little slow, only because it covers new info that the show and books have only touched on so it is a lot of new info, but once you get to the mad king and that era you can relate better because you have heard the subject thru the show or books so it is AMAZING to get some history ...

    Fire & Ice Fandom, REJOICE!!

    This is a BEAUTIFUL book!! Full of wonderful illustrations and fascinating details about the world created by George R. R. Martin in the Song of Ice and Fire series. I highly recommend this for any true fan or collector. The over-sized pages are crisp and beautiful, it's bound well and the front cover is beautifully embossed with the 3-headed dragon emblem. The art in the book is highly detailed. A LOT of it is in full color, and it has so much fascinating content, that my friend, who had never even watched the Game of Thrones series, or read any of the books from the series, now wants to devour it ALL after thumbing through this book. A WONDERFUL addition to my library!

    Amazing absolute must have!

    This is a must have for any game of thrones fan, asoiaf book fan, house of the dragon fan, or just a fan of westeros and all the lands in that world. It tells more stories and lore of the world, old history of house. Contains nice artwork. Even has a few family trees. An absolute must have for fans. The book itself is amazing quality. Its huge and of great quality. Its biggest than a phone book. The cover looks like an old journal from olden times like an old leathery worn down look. To pair with it I recommend the "lands of ice and fire". That one is a book sleeve that opens up to contain 12 maps of the asoiaf world. Map of KL and bravos. Westeros, essos, the whole known world. Essos broken into chunks. Just another must have for the fan collection. Just get them all lol WINTER IS ...

    OMG this book has it all, large print for all ages to read, great illustrations and depictions of events, and loads and loads of Game of Thrones information. This is a book for ALL GoT lovers!!!!

    This is such a beautiful and we'll crafted companion book for any fan of the boys or TV series. And the information is amazing ! Great gift idea

    Buy it for yourself or the Game of Thrones addict in your life. You won't be sorry. It's a wonderful way to go deeper into the history and lore. And it can spur many a debate among the theorists dying for THE WINDS OF WINTER.
