Set in the science fiction realms of the film franchise crossover, Aliens vs. Predator is a high-definition action-adventure composed of tense, violent, kill-or-be-killed scenarios. Following the design concept of earlier AvP shooters, the game pits three different factions against one another. Players take the roles of deadly xenomorph aliens, stealthy predators, and heavily armed space marines, to do battle with enemies from the other two factions. Evolved to protect the brood, the alien xenomorphs are unmatched in melee combat, and excel at surprise attacks with their overpowering strength. Born of a species of hunters, the predator is a master of well-timed assaults and agile attacks. Physically weak but at a technological advantage, the human marines use heavy firepower to take down enemies from a distance. In many of the game's levels, warriors from all three factions must fight against one another in the same battles, at the same time.<br><br>Players will have to fight hard to survive, but it pays to fight smart, as well. In some situations, characters can manipulate the environment, or accomplish other puzzle-solving feats, in order to put their enemies at a disadvantage. Single players take the roles of each species in turn, as they progress through the game's three campaigns. Multiplayer configurations are also available to Internet-connected gamers, offering the chance to play against other human-controlled warriors, in deathmatch and team-based competitions. Sega's Aliens vs. Predator was developed by Rebellion, whose previous work with the series includes Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem for PSP, the 1999 home computer game Aliens Versus Predator, and 1994's well received Alien vs. Predator for Atari Jaguar. In creating the game's three-pronged storyline, designers took special inspiration from the original films and from the Dark Horse comics series.

    I didn't know what to expect but I wasn't anticipating SUCH GOOD PACKAGING?? This was so well wrapped that if this radio alarm clock was a block of cocaine it would've passed security with ease.     About the game

    In my opinion, this was a good offer that I had to pay for the game. My only problem is how short the game is in single player in the aliens mode, I’m not sure about the other campaigns though. I’m also unaware if the multiplayer is dead. If you don’t mind multiplayer then I would recommend this for you if you’re a aliens and predator fan.

    Good game!

    This is actually a decent game, If you have imagination that is! :D glad i found this gem, awesome price too. cant complain at all. Fun campaign and angering Multiplayer. What more can you ask for. Thumbs up!

    Awesome!

    This game was supposed to be just like the PC version - NOT! Someone said it was - they lie! They took this and made it more like watching the movie man. You go through the colony, yes, but it's been totally re-done- more realistic - different planet, lush jungle, for the predator. Whoa. Reminiscent of Unreal 2, only more claustrophobic in places and like, 10x scarier and creepier, and a bit dark in places --- where the aliens await you! Jump, snarl! Holy crap! And rarely you're going along, and then the place gets infested with 'em and you should RUN! The panic is well portrayed- you hear yourself panting and muttering, and the camera shakes! Great game in all 3 modes of play, marine, alien, and predator. They added bossish creatures too, so watch your step man. You won't miss the ...

    A blast from the past!

    Game is a basic shooter that plays decently and really gets you nostalgic is if you are into the source material. Any fan of these characters should definitely pick this up.
