Accessible trip hop lite
Great debut album with an edge and that edge was lead singer Kelli Ali. Her ethereal vocals and excellent production make this a good listen. The band made a mistake IMO when Kelli Ali was dismissed. Sneaker Pimps and Kelli Ali (solo) continue to put out new music but they will fortunately or unfortunately always be compared to this record. Fans of trip hop artists Massive Attack will not find Sneaker Pimps as deep. Still worth a listen.
