LpI love these long lasting cartridges!
Although my HP printer is old and out of production, I am thankful that I can still find cartridges for it. Thank you for still carrying these cartridges that I love. I can print so many reams of paper on just one cartridge!

Old stock OEM toner cartidges were defective and useless
I thought I was getting a great deal on a pair of new old stock HP 98A toner cartridges, but they turned out to be completely useless. Both leaked toner badly and the image was just a bunch of smears, smudges and faint lines. They made a horrible mess and almost ruined my Laserjet 5 printer. The lesson here is that all these heavily discounted HP OEM toner cartridges are very old and way past their service life. The only viable choice is to buy new generic toner cartridges or rebuilt cartridges, since HP stopped making these cartridges a long time ago.

Toner Cartridge Warning
Be wary of the "Genuine " factory toner cartridges for printers. While they may be the "real" cartridges the odds are that they are long past their usable shelf life which can translate into major problems, i.e., powder leakage, seized gears and internal parts etc. Subsequent damage to your printer can be very expensive. Stick with the new fresh manufacture replacements... they cost more but it's a lot cheaper than the cost to repair your printer.

It's toner. That's all I know.
I have not installed this to my printer yet. Sadly, my printer has other problems that I am not certain will be able to be overcome economically. I give this review a middle of the road rating because I really cannot comment intelligently about the product itself. Sorry. I'm sure it would work just fine. I may be listing my cartridge on line some day soon.

HP LJ 4 Toner
Seemed a little long getting to me, but arrived fine. Works fine.Good value. "Does it dry quickly?" It's a toner not an ink-jet. This question is N/A. "Does the cartridge last a long time?" Ahhhh, I just got it. I hope it does.

Beware old cartridges... NOS doesn't mean theyll work!
IMO, all original HP 922298 cartridges are now too old to work correctly. The wiper inside the cartridge is too deteriorated due to time to clean the drum effectively. Old cartridges like this produce dark, smeared copies.... unusable for any purpose. Best to get one that's been remanufactured with new parts (wiper). HP no longer makes these cartridges, so what's for sale is now too old to work properly.... beware!

Great Value
My old HP LaserJet 4 printer is still going strong but now you can't buy toner at office supply companies. Office Depot used to charge over $100. So glad I found this deal on-line. And the cartridge works perfectly so far.

Cartridge no good
Ink spilled all over my printer from this cartridge from the 1st. time I inserted it. Printer now shows sign for service due to the fact that the ink spilled all over it. Still trying to get it clean and new cartridge was no good. Never had problem with this printer below, was just looking for a low price cartridge. Nothing cheap is good.
