Younger in tone than previous STARGATE series, this sci-fi drama follows a group of scientists, soldiers, and ordinary people who are forced to travel through a Stargate when they come under attack. Emerging on an archaic starship headed away from Earth, the group soon find that their destiny has been sealed, as the ship's course is locked. Now they must fight for survival against hunger, dehydration, the twisted secrets of the Stargate, and even each other. Features the second series of the show.

I love stargate universe think its better than Atlantis. The mixture of army personnel and civilians make it more interesting

Stargate Universe
This is my favourite series by far from the Stargate "universe". I greatly enjoy SGI & Atlantis, but SU has so much more to it. There's a realism to the actors' performances ; they react in the various ways that people in general would react to ,and by changed by, the extraordinary travails to which they are subjected. And the stories, themes , & characters are given the time they need to develop complexity and engage the intellect as much as the heart. Special treats include a stellar performance from Robert Carlyle and occasional turns from members of SG1.
