Clean, crazy, fun... British Comedy, at it's best!
Q - Have you ever felt "put upon?" A - You will enjoy the neighbors in this series. Q - Do you have some family who are tilted, just slightly, off-kilter? A - You will enjoy the trials of the lead character. Q - Are you acquainted with a "very," hen-pecked husband? (Hmmmmnn.... NO! Let's make that "a man hen-pecked by a royal goose!" LOL) A - You will LOVE the first, supporting actor in this gem of a show! Last, but certainly not least: If there is that certain someone in your life, who feels just a bit more important than they ever will be... YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY FALL IN LOVE WITH HYACINTH!!!!!!!!! I think most people have a "Hyacinth" in their life. That is what makes this series so funny. One of the best, clean comedies of all-time! If you love good, British humor, humor yourself; and buy this set of DVDS as quickly as possible!

Such a Lovely Surprise!!
I loved "Keeping Up Appearances" when it was on our local PBS station. And now I own the complete series--with additional outtakes--so I can view it any time I wish. I am so excited. The product is brand new and I felt was a reasonable price. So glad my husband found it and purchased it for me as a surprise!

Good quality set
We have not had any problems watching these discs so far, and it is great to have this whole classic British series available.

"The Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) residence, lady of the house speaking"
I loved this show when it first appeared on PBS in the 90's. All of the characters are engaging and I must admit I fell in love with Rose with all her tortured romances and Onslow for his work ethic (drinking beer and watching the telly). And then there is poor Richard, a case study in long suffering. And of course, Patrica Routledge the star of the series as Hyacinth. Even the canned laughter highlights each moment. This truly is British humor at its best and now I'm able to watch it at will. The ten DVD disks covers the entire series and includes extras. It comes in a top quality storage case. Great Value and Great Entertaining to watch over and over. You won't be disappointed. I Promise!

Bucket series
I fell in love with the Bucket family when I lived in Europe, and later when I was able to watch them on PBS. Now I can enjoy the antics of the lady of the house anytime I wish and always laugh my head off. It's winderfully presented with the entire series where we can watch poor Richard Bucket take a lot from his "loving" wife as he goes about his daily life,mand of course "daddy" and the two sisters. A laugh a minutes, very enjoyable.i

Keeping up with breathing between non-stop laughter
TRULY .. one of THE FUNNIEST SHOWS EVER!!! I ache from the hilarity of this brilliant comic masterpiece series..Patricia Routledge is comic genius par excellence... I'm SOO grateful to my late mother who had me see some of these shows years ago.. It's right up there with MARY TYLER MOORE,EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND and FRASIER to name a few...The British humor is simply sparkling,ribald and raunchy.. 5 stars plus!

This is the funniest and best TV series out there. Buy it as you won't be disappointed!!!!!.
This is the funniest and best TV series out there. Buy it as you won't be disappointed. No foul language or sex. Just a pure family, funny show. I promise you will love it. Grab your friends, Neighbors, and family members and throw this super great show in a DVD and have a fun time watching.

OH, THESE CD'S are perfect. We use to watch them 20years ago on PBS My Daughter Christen Brought it up and bought it for me over seas it ts 139.99 Thanks, To ebay I got to get it for 39.99.This product is a set of comesdy english cd's they are hilarious. There is nothing bad about them, If you wan't a good laugh buy you a set give it a try you will be laughibg your hinny off.

Entertaining but not worth the trouble
Four of the discs, though marked with different episodes and seasons, happen to be four of the same disc. How did that happen? So now I'm stuck without seeing the "complete" series because "four discs" are the same series only marked differently! I had this series before but threw them out because the episodes would freeze up and I'd miss seeing the complete episode. In my opinion, buying these at any price is a waste of money, maybe would be best to get them from PBS store, or directly from the the manufacturer. I'm really disappointed!
