A Child's Christmas in Wales
I watched this with my girls, when they were young. We were captivated, it was absolutely magical. It is the story of a long ago Christmas, seen through the eyes of a young Welch boy. I haven't seen this movie since it was on TV, at least thirty years ago. I keep a collection of our family's favorite Christmas movies like Elf, A Christmas Story and such. This year, when the grandchildren and children arrive, I will have a surprise new film for them. We will wait until then to watch it, so that we can all share the magic together.

Enchantingly entertaining!
Delightful movie. The movie brings the book to life. Every actor and actress is perfect for their role, the imagery cozy, and it’s downright funny! The only reason I said it wasn’t good value is because I paid in the low 20’s for this video, and I know it’s just because it’s not easily obtainable. It’s a short but very sweet movie and even with a little grumbling about the price I’d buy the movie again.

A Christmas Treasure
This 1987 film of A Child’s Christmas in Wales follows Dylan Thomas’s poem closely. It’s a Christmas treasure! I wish it would be re-issued as it would be a perfect gift.
