After the death of her beloved dog, a widow (Blythe Danner) grows dissatisfied with her structured routine and decides to make some life changes. She soon forges an unlikely friendship with her pool man (Martin Starr) and begins a romance with an intriguing stranger (Sam Elliott). Disapointing
This was so good until the end. It's obvious that an important scene (or scenes) were left on the cutting room floor. I was left with the feeling that I had missed an important part of the story. It kind of stopped flat! Disappointing! The acting is excellent by all of the players.... Just not finished correctly, in my opinion. Too bad. I think the actors were cheated by bad editing. Not at all like the original movie with the same name - starring Doris Day and Danny Thomas.

Excellent movie. Probably more geared to older population but a movie that makes you laugh, cry and feel good.

Moving well done movie
Actors superb especially Blythe. Great story, nice to see such a positive story for this age group - should be liked by many generations. Hope they do more.
