It really is a "better mousetrap."
My impression so far is that this item is much more than just a smoke detector. I like the app that controls and monitors it. Price is a bit higher than other smoke/CO detectors, but not enough so that I would hesitate to buy again. Seems like a solidly build quality product. Easy installation, convenient features. Great addition
Super easy to set up and install. Nice loud alert sounds that differ between smoke and carbon monoxide. Once set up pair it to a Nest account and / or Google Home. Highly Recommended!!! A must for every smart home.

Sweet Tech
Was not aware the Detector has the ability to illuminate the area it's in. Just like the Nest Secure Motion Sensors. Very Kewl indeed. The Device was easy to install, and does frequent self checks. Has a Battery/Power Save mode so it does not stay connected to your WiFi Continuously. Audible Alarm can be heard outside in my Garage through two closed doors. Easy install
I’m sync Everything works great This is the 4th different product I have bought from nest and I absolutely love it, Can’t wait for the expansion of this co. To touch other fields I have 4 but 2 of them I can access due to kids sleeping lol Install was so easy like the other products and I am very much recommending nest to everyone
