Kinks Greatest from the mid-1970s
If all you know of the Kinks is You Really Got Me or Lola, this CD represents an awesome creative experience of their mid-1970s. The lyrical masterpieces of Celluloid Heroes, Face in the Crowd, 20th Century Man, Muswell Hillbilly, and Everybody's a Star (Star Maker). Maybe I am just biased from growing up with this collection but I find the Kinks as lyrically and musically creative as Pink Floyd, Steppenwolf, and a few other of their contemporaries.
