    Dear diary... today I discovered the old dead is not dead

    If you've never watched Diary of the Dead and are expecting another sequal in the Romero franchise, you are in for a surprise. This is a well executed, found footage installment that takes place in the same timeframe as 'Night', but updated to 2008. The characters are engaging and there is enough familier arcs and gore to know you are watching a Romero film. While it does not have the scope of 'Land', there is clostrophobic "what the heck is going on here?" feel very reminicent of the original film.

    Worst Romero Zombie Film

    This is easily by far the worst of the zombie films I have watched that were made by Romero. It is so forgettable that I just forgot what it was about and I just watched it 2 weeks ago. It is not really a zombie film at all and I cannot figure out what its purpose was. It was not entertaining at all.
