A delightfully intense series
This series is not for everyone, but for those who enjoy an intelligent, humorous engaging plot that is full of fantasy bordering on reality. It helps to be knowledgeable of quantum physics to follow some of the story lines, but not necessary. It is very enjoyable for me since I love futurism, though I am not a fan of horror and Fringe tends to borderline on Horror, as well, at times. There is a lot of drug abuse throughout and if you don't like needles they seem to be used in most every episode. The characters are well defined and lovable. Great Sci Fi Series
One of my all time favorite TV series. Somewhat grisly and violent, but the manners in which many of the deaths occur is quite strange and curious. And of course-- dead is not always really dead is it. Like-able well cast characters, good production values, interesting story line, clever (and often subtle) humor. For any that whine this series was boring, I would say the series must be outside of your usual vein of interest or perhaps it's a little too smart for you to follow. I almost never give a 10/10 rating, but would rate this a 9/10 (can't give 4-1/2 out of 5 starts) which is why I bought the complete series on DVD. Excellent Series !!!

The fringe division of the FBI deals with unusual thing that are not easy to explain.
